Babar Azam Career

He was born in Lahore Pakistan, he belongs from a cricket family. Umar Akmal, Kamran Akmal are his cousin's. In 2008 he was selected for under 15 world championship. After that he played under 19 world cup for Pakistan in 2010 and 2012. He is a consistent performer in domestic cricket circuit, he played for Islamabad Leopards, Islamabad United, Rangpur Riders, Karachi Kings. He made his ODI debut in 2015 against Zimbabwe. In the third match of the series he batting at no 4 and scored 54 runs in just 60 balls. In the very next year he made his T-20 debut against England, he could not score big runs but he made 15 impactful runs. In his Test debut against West Indies at UAE he scored 69 runs in 105 balls. Though his career was short till he is considered as Virat Kohli of Pakistan. In champions trophy 2017 final match against India he scored 46 runs in 52 balls and as a result Pakistan won the title. In 2019 world cup he scored 474 runs in just 8 innings.
